This post goes over how to schedule and publish posts on TikTok.
TikTok is one of the fastest growing social networks. However, in the TikTok app, there is no way to schedule a TikTok post for the future. You can only post your TikTok videos at that moment.
Here is how to schedule TikTok posts
Using OneUp, you can schedule TikTok posts for the future.
However, because TikTok does not allow scheduling tools to directly post to TikTok, you have to use this workaround.
On the Accounts page of OneUp, click the Instagram Connect button. I know we are trying to schedule TikTok posts, but we will just click Instagram for now:
It will then ask if you are connecting a Business or Personal Instagram account.
It will then prompt you to add your username. You can simply put in “TikTok” or whatever you’d like:
After completing the steps above, you must download AND login to the OneUp mobile app, and allow notifications (otherwise you will not receive reminders).
How to create your scheduled TikTok post
After your TikTok account is connected and you have both downloaded and logged into the OneUp mobile app, you are ready to create a post.
In the Schedule Post dropdown, choose “Schedule a post”.
Then select your account named “TikTok” (or whatever you named it), and add your description for your video:
Then click “Add Video file” to attach your video.
You will see your video attached to your post:
Then choose when you want to schedule your TikTok posts for:
How do TikTok notifications work?
You’ll receive a push notification on your phone at the time you scheduled your TikTok post for.
Tap the notification, and it will open your post in the OneUp mobile app:
Click “Share this on Instagram”. This will automatically copy your caption to your clipboard.
It will then open the Instagram app on your phone, which you can exit.
Open the TikTok app instead, and create a post.
You will see your video in your video gallery:
Click Next, and then when you get to the “Describe your video” screen, simply paste in the caption (which was saved to your clipboard in the earlier step):
Your caption is now added, and you are ready to publish your scheduled TikTok post 😊
