How to post to Reels, TikTok, and Shorts at the same time

Here is how to post the same video to Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts, and even Snapchat at the same time. And yes, they all publish DIRECTLY (no need for mobile notifications).

You can also use this tool to SCHEDULE videos to post to Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube Shorts for the future.

Posting to Reels, TikTok, and Shorts all at once

To post to TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts at the same time, you can use the social media scheduling tool OneUp. OneUp posts to all 3 directly. (Facebook Reels is not shown here, but it IS supported in OneUp as well!)

The first step is to connect your Instagram account, Facebook Page, TikTok account, and YouTube channel to the Accounts page of OneUp:

post to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat, and TikTok at the same time

Then click “Create a post”, and then select which accounts you want to post to (probably the YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram accounts in this case, but OneUp also supports Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google Business Profiles as well):

Schedule post to Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok at the same time

Then add your video and caption, and add your YouTube Shorts title:

Keep scrolling down and you will find the option to choose the thumbnail (aka cover image) for your Instagram Reel, YouTube Short, and TikTok video:

Yes, thumbnails are supported for Reels, Shorts, and TikTok 🙂

Then either post it to all 3 platforms now, schedule the post for a later date, or save it as a draft:

Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and TikTok at the same time

That is how you post to Instagram Reels (and Facebook Reels), YouTube Shorts, and TikTok all at the same time.

OneUp also supports video posts on Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, and LinkedIn, so that means that a single video can now be posted to TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, YouTube Shorts, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Twitter – all at the same time with OneUp!

Check out OneUp to save yourself a ton of time from manually opening the Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok apps each time you want to post a video

How to schedule TikTok posts more than 10 days in advance

This post goes over how to schedule and publish posts on TikTok with OneUp. And yes, they post DIRECTLY (no need for mobile notifications).

TikTok is one of the fastest-growing social networks. TikTok is a social media platform where people can watch, create, and share video content in real-time.

However, in the TikTok mobile app, there is no way to schedule a TikTok post for the future. You can only post your TikTok videos at that moment.

If you want to schedule TikTok posts for the future, you have 2 options:

  1. Use TikTok’s scheduler on a web browser (not in the mobile app, and it only works with Business or Creator accounts), OR
  2. Use a 3rd-party TikTok scheduling tool (works with all account types)

If you use TikTok’s scheduler on a web browser, you will see the “Publish at a later date” option while creating your post, but ONLY for Creator and Business accounts (not Personal accounts):

Schedule TikTok posts for the future

However, TikTok’s scheduler only allows you to schedule videos up to 10 days in advance. If you try to choose a date more than 10 days into the future, it shows those dates as grayed out:

Schedule TikTok videos more than 10 days in advance

If you want to schedule TikTok videos as far into the future as you’d like, you can schedule TikTok videos using a 3rd-party TikTok scheduling tool like OneUp.

Using OneUp, you can schedule TikTok posts, and it works with all TikTok account types (Personal, Creator, or Business accounts).

Here is how scheduling TikTok posts with OneUp works 👇

How to schedule TikTok posts

  1. Connect your TikTok account on the Accounts page of OneUp
  2. Click “Create a post”
  3. Select which TikTok account you want to post to (if you have more than 1 TikTok account connected)

Note: In response to coronavirus (COVID-19), chains may now create Posts via the API for a limited time. Posts made by Chains should be related to business updates relevant to coronavirus (COVID-19).
